About
Mat Cole is a Licensed Pest Management Technician who is fully insured to deliver feral animal pest management programs. The majority of Kimberley Vermin Control's work is in the area of Wild Dog Control.

We provide targeted shooting, trapping & baiting programs to stations / pastoralists in WA. No work is commenced without prior approvals from the Department of Agriculture. We do not bait near waterways, residential areas, campsites or roads. We DO notify all neighbouring properties of our work and ensure warning signs are displayed.

Wild dog predation on livestock is taking a heavy economic and emotional toll on livestock producers in affected pastoral and agricultural areas, which is why pastoralists use our services. We try not to share too many graphic images on our site but the traumatic impact of wild dogs on cattle in the Kimberley, Pilbara & Gascoyne is something pastoral workers have to see and manage on a daily basis.

Research from the Australian National University shows that Dingoes are not native to Australia, they were likely introduced as a domestic dog between 3000 & 4000 years ago, before recorded European visitors to Australia. Wild dogs (this includes dingoes) are declared animal pests under the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act of 2007. A such, the work carried out by Kimberley Vermin control is approved by the law and subject to strict conditions and precautions.
